Walnut Sandies
Buttery melt-in-the-mouth cookies with chopped Brazil nuts, shaped into little balls.

Ingredients
Type a number or fraction (for example 0.5, 2 or 1/2) and the amounts recalculate.
- 1 cupsoftened butter½ pound
- 1/3 cupsugar
- 2 cupswheat flour
- 3 teaspoonswater
- 1 teaspoonvanilla
- 1 pinchsalt
- 1 cupchopped Brazil nuts
Instructions
- Mix the butter and sugar well.
- Add the water and vanilla; mix.
- Add the flour and nuts; mix.
- Chill the dough in the fridge for 3 to 4 hours.
- Form little balls (do not shape them like cookies).
- Bake on an ungreased tray at 325° for 20 minutes.
- Once cool, dust with XXX powdered sugar using a sieve.
