Ham, Pineapple and Cheese with Mustard Sauce
Layers of ham, cheese and pineapple baked and bathed in a mustard sauce with cream and paprika. Served with shoestring potatoes.

Ingredients
Type a number or fraction (for example 0.5, 2 or 1/2) and the amounts recalculate.
- 2cans of pineapple rings
- 1 poundham cut not too thin
- 1 poundDutch edam or gruyère cheese
- 1/2 cupheavy cream
- saltto taste
- mustardto taste
- paprikato taste
- 2 tablespoonsflour
- 1/4 poundbutter
Instructions
- Grease the baking dish with butter.
- Place a layer of ham, cheese and pineapple, and so on until finished.
- Reserve the pineapple juice and put it over the heat with mustard to taste, then the cream, the salt, the pepper and the butter in small bits, to form a smooth paste.
- Bathe the dish with the sauce, sprinkle with paprika and bake.
- Serve with shoestring potatoes.
