Cheese Muffins
Fluffy cheese muffins, light thanks to stiffly beaten egg whites, baked in individual molds.

Ingredients
Type a number or fraction (for example 0.5, 2 or 1/2) and the amounts recalculate.
- 6egg yolks
- 6egg whites beaten until stiff
- 1 cupmilk
- 1 cupflour
- 1 teaspoonbaking powder
- 1 teaspoonsalt
- 1 tablespoonsugar
- 1/4 poundmelted butter
- 1 cupgrated cheese
Instructions
- In a bowl, sift the flour, sugar, salt and baking powder.
- Add the yolks little by little, alternating with the milk. Stir well.
- Then add the melted butter and the cheese. Mix carefully until all the ingredients are properly combined.
- Finally fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites, without stirring too much.
- Butter and flour the muffin molds. Pour the mixture into each one.
- Bake in a hot oven at 350° for half an hour. After this time, remove from the oven.
